Everything could happen in Mercedes at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh rankedComunicaciones and 10th ranked La Union had identical 2-2 record. This time Comunicaciones used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Formosa 87-70 on Saturday night. Comunicaciones outrebounded La Union 49-36 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Marcos Panozzo (195) notched a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Agustin Bruner (188-2004) supported him with 19 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals.
