No shocking result in a game when first rankedAncud (7-1) beat on the road bottom-ranked Castro (0-8) 93-77 on Friday. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Franco Morales (181-1992) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists. American forward Dennis McKinney (194-1998, college: Mt.Mercy, agency: GoEmpire Group) accounted for 30 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Yahuza Rasas (201-1999, college: PVAMU) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds and guard Ricardo Cardenas (173-1995) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Castro in the defeat. Four Castro players scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Ancud . They maintain first place with 7-1 record, which they share with Concepcion. Castro lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. They share the position with Liceo PN.
