Potosi Mun. can celebrate finally their first win this season after seven consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Bolmar (1-7) 79-56 on Saturday. Potosi Mun. forced 27 Bolmar turnovers. Forward Julieta Tapia (172-2005) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Aylin Escalante (170-2006) chipped in 27 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Barbara Chambi responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Samira Sanchez produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Bolmar's coach already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Potosi Mun. left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Bolmar. It was Bolmar's fifth loss in a row.
