Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Santiago Basket (1-7) was defeated on the road by first ranked Mambas (6-2) 80-64 on Friday. Victor Torres (189-1995) fired 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Wilbert Valdez chipped in 15 points. American center Elafayette Stone (208-1998, college: Claflin) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Brandon Hill (185-1987, college: Potomac St.) added 10 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Mambas maintains first position with 6-2 record, which they share with Immortals. Santiago Basket lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Santiago Max. Mambas will meet Moca Superior (#4) in the next round.
