No shocking result in a game when top-rankedNacional (8-0) beat 6th ranked Urupan (3-4) in Montevideo 91-78 on Thursday. The winners were led by American power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven) who scored that evening 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and point guard Alejandro Acosta (189-1989) supported him with 19 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). Even a double-double of 11 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists by point guard Mateo Sarni (185-1998) did not help to save the game for Urupan . American forward Terrence Thompson (203-1994, college: Wake Forest) added 14 points and 14 rebounds for the guests. Five Urupan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nacional have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record. Loser Urupan dropped to the seventh place with four games lost. They share the position with Trouville.
