Not a big story in a game when 9th rankedQuilmes MP (5-7) lost on the road to sixth ranked Pilar (6-3) 75-69 on Tuesday. American center Dishon Lowery (200-1998, college: OKBU) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Puerto Rican guard Jesus Cruz (196-1998, college: Fairfield) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Pilar players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 6 assists by the former international point guard Luis Cequeira (179-1985) did not help to save the game for Quilmes MP . Forward Emilio Gimenez (196-1995) added 13 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pilar moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dep Viedma and GEPU. Loser Quilmes MP dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost.
