Not a big story in a game in Mercedes where 16th rankedUnion (3-6) was defeated by fifth ranked Comunicaciones (9-4) 73-60 on Thursday. Comunicaciones outrebounded Union 46-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Marcos Panozzo (195) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Yosel Perez chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Four Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. Comunicaciones' coach Hernan Ferrero used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Estanislao Crespi produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Francisco Alonso added 13 points respectively for the guests. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Comunicaciones . They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Boca Jrs. Union at the other side dropped to the seventeenth position with six games lost. They share it with Zarate.
