Regular Season Round 15: Dep Viedma - GELP 70-61

Very important is a road loss of third ranked GELP (7-6) against sixth ranked Dep Viedma (7-3) on Sunday night. Visiting GELP was defeated by Dep Viedma in a tough game in Rio Negro 61-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of GELP. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Mariano Marina (-1999) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 4 assists. Point guard Matias Alluchon (185-2000) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Dep Viedma's coach Guillermo Bogliacino allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Augusto Bruera (196-1998, agency: BIG) came up with 11 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Alan Moreno (185-1997, agency: BIG) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for GELP in the defeat. Dep Viedma have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. GELP at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Ameghino. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
