Everything went according to plan when third rankedRacing (9-5) outplayed 14th ranked Ciclista (4-7) in Chivilcoy 70-47 on Friday. Racing outrebounded Ciclista 51-27 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Racing made 7 blocks. Point guard Miguel De (176-1997, agency: BIG) nailed 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and swingman Juan Conte (192-2002) accounted for 16 points and 10 rebounds. American power forward Caden Ebeling (201, college: LSSU) came up with 13 points and 6 rebounds and forward Jonatan Basualdo (198-1999) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Ciclista in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Racing have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 9-5 record behind leader Pico FC. Loser Ciclista dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Independiente and Pergamino.
