One of the most interesting games of round 3 was a derby match between two teams from Dominican Republic. The game took place in Santiago whereCPN won against visiting Immortals (1-2) 63-55 . It was an exceptional evening for Victor Liz (190-1986, agency: BMS Sport Agency) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Albertson Pimentel (185) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Forward Angel Rivas (198-1993) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Belizean-American point guard David Thompson (183, college: CWU) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Immortals in the defeat. Immortals' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
