We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 15th rankedUnion (6-8) lost to sixteenth ranked La Union (5-7) in Formosa 79-84 on Friday. It was an exceptional evening for Franco Gimenez who led the winners and scored 27 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Franco Chir (190-2002) accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Luciano Guerra (184-1997) came up with 19 points and Agustin Ferrari (-2005) added 18 points respectively for Union in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. La Union moved-up to fourteenth place. Loser Union dropped to the thirteenth position with eight games lost.
