Everything went according to plan when ninth rankedObras (8-7) defeated bottom-ranked San Martin (1-15) in Buenos Aires 89-71 on Sunday. Obras outrebounded San Martin 48-30 including 36 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Lautaro Barrios (195-2004) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. Victor Perez (187-2005) accounted for 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Obras' coach Javier Ielmini used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Lorenzo Benay (203-2004) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and Joaquin Folmer added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for San Martin in the defeat. Obras maintains ninth place with 8-7 record. San Martin lost their fifteenth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
