Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo:Nacional (#2) and Aguada (#3). Aguada was defeated at home 105-111 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Nacional players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Aguada 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Argentinian forward Franco Giorgetti (203-1992) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Nacional's coach Alvaro Ponce allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Dominican center Luis Santos (203-1994, college: St.Louis) answered with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and guard Santiago Vidal (180-1989, agency: Pro Sports) added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists in the effort for Aguada. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Nacional . They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Penarol. Aguada at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost.
