Regular Season Round 3: Quimsa - Ferro 61-66

Ferro (4-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat Quimsa (0-3) in Santiado del Estero 66-61 . Ferro dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Quimsa 's 18. Ferro forced 23 Quimsa turnovers and outrebounded them 48-34 including 38 on the defensive glass. Quimsa was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a quality performance for the former international center Florencia Fernandez (189-1986) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Dalma Piri (175-2001) accounted for 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) came up with 13 points and 5 rebounds and guard Sofia Cabrera (167-1997) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Quimsa in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
