The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ciudad de Mexico:Libelulas and Huskys . Huskys were crushed at home by 53 points 33-86 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Libelulas held Huskys to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.4 percent accuracy of the winners and had 23 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Huskys only scored five points from the stripe. Libelulas forced 33 Huskys turnovers and outrebounded them 41-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Raisa Valdes answered with 11 points and 5 rebounds and guard Karla Machuca (-1996) added 7 points in the effort for Huskys. Huskys' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
