Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Buenos Aires:Ferro (#1) and Berazategui (#8). Ferro (7-0) won against visiting Berazategui (2-5) 75-61 . Ferro forced 24 Berazategui turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for center Julia Fernandez (185-2004) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. The former international center Florencia Fernandez (189-1986) accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. Swingman Candela Ruffino (184-1994) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and point guard Rocio Estrada (161-1987) added 14 points respectively for Berazategui in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ferro have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Berazategui lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with five games lost.
