We should mention about the upset which took place in Mercedes, where higher rankedRegatas (10-10) lost to seventeenth ranked Comunicaciones (7-13) in a road game 73-81 on Monday. It was a great evening for forward Rodrigo Sanchez (200-1989) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Keron DeShields (190-1992, college: Tennessee St., agency: Diamond Sports) helped adding 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. Guard Franco Vieta (194-1992) responded with 16 points and forward Alejandro Diez (201-1987) scored 15 points. Regatas' coach Fernando Calvi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Comunicaciones moved-up to sixteenth place. Regatas lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Obera.
