The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ciudad de Mexico:Quetzales (#2) and Huskys (#4). Huskys were smashed at home by 45 points 50-95 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Quetzales forced 24 Huskys turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Huskys helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for center Monica Farrera (185-1997) who led her team to a victory with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Cuban center Clenia Noblet (190-1987) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Quetzales players scored in double figures. Raisa Valdes replied with 11 points and 7 rebounds and Cinthya Dominguez added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Huskys. Huskys' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Quetzales have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-1 record behind leader Libelulas. Huskys lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with six games lost.
