The most surprising game was the first loss ofReal Esteli (4-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by thirteenth ranked Jass (3-3) 62-56 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Real Esteli. 27 personal fouls committed by Real Esteli helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Michael Lampson stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds for the winners and Sergio Tenorio chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. The former international forward Deo Downs (-2006) responded with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Nishon Thomas scored 8 points and 15 rebounds. Real Esteli's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jass moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Hurricane. Real Esteli at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost.
