There was a surprise result in Matagalpa where eighteenth rankedIndigenas (2-4) outscored higher ranked Leones (2-4) 99-76 on Sunday. Indigenas forced 28 Leones turnovers. The best player for the winners was Johnston Huerta (-2001) who scored 19 points, 5 assists and 6 steals (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Swingman Byron Castillo (190-1979) chipped in 20 points and 6 steals. Five Indigenas players scored in double figures. Caleb Lara (-2006) produced 16 points and Terry Picado added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Indigenas moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Bonanza and Leones.
