BEBL top team -Hurricanes (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Trojans (1-3) in Belize City 101-68 . Hurricanes dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Trojans ' 26 and had 23 for 34 from the free-throw line, while Trojans only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Trojans 46-20 including a 33-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. American swingman Victor Evans (193, college: Vanguard) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Sidibe Bourama chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Hurricanes players scored in double figures. Guard Jevaughn McKenzie produced 15 points and 4 assists and Lisanie Lambey added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Trojans' coach A Manzanero gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Hurricanes have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. Newly promoted Trojans dropped to the sixth place with three games lost.
