Regular Season Round 41: Montmartre - Amancay 69-76

There was a minor upset in Catamarca where 8th ranked Montmartre (11-12) was defeated by eleventh ranked Amancay (11-12) 76-69 on Monday. Guard Juan Cognigni (192-1990) stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Nicolas Rodriguez chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Center Nicolas Franco (204-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and forward Juan Boffelli (197-1998) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Amancay moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ameghino and Montmartre. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
