The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss ofRayos de Hermosillo (5-1) in Mazatlan on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Venados (3-3) 86-79 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Rayos de Hermosillo. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Decensae White (198-1988, college: SF State) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import center Alonzo Stafford (200-1993, college: CCC) who added 19 points during the contest. White is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) responded with 29 points and the former international forward Jorge Camacho (203-1989, college: EKU) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mazatlan moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Obregon. Hermosillo at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost.
