Rather predictable result when leaderBrumas (7-0) rolled over 7th ranked San Isidro (5-5) in Matagalpa 87-60 on Saturday. Brumas outrebounded San Isidro 45-29 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Brumas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international Dalton Cacho (200-1993) nailed 8 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and the former international Juan Herrera (187-1996) accounted for 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Esmilder Rojas (187-1985) came up with 27 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Dwight Real (-1997) added 7 points and 10 assists respectively for San Isidro in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Brumas . They maintain third place with 7-0 record having five points less than leader Jaguares, which they share with Tipitapa. San Isidro lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with five games lost.
