Liga Mayor top team -Batanecas (3-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Santa Ana 2 (0-3) 68-37 . Batanecas dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Santa Ana 2 's 26. Batanecas forced 30 Santa Ana 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 61-36 including a 28-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Cuban center Rachel Contreras (184-1999) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 23 rebounds and forward Niky Orantes (167-2009) supported her with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Batanecas' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 11 points and 6 rebounds by guard Isabella Herrera (155-2009) did not help to save the game for Santa Ana 2 . Guard Paola Herrera (156-2004) added 8 points for lost side. Batanecas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 3-0 record. Loser Santa Ana 2 still closes the standings with three games lost.
