Bottom-rankedUnion managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the eight-game losing streak. This time they won against fifteenth-ranked Ferro in Santa Fe 96-82 . Union made 27-of-33 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Ferro was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American Dominique Morrison (198-1989, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) who scored that evening 28 points and 8 rebounds and Daniel Hure (200-1985) supported him with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Even 12 points and 9 rebounds by naturalized Italian center Damian Tintorelli (205-1981) did not help to save the game for Ferro . Swingman Valentin Bettiga (189-1999) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Union maintains twentieth position with 4-19 record. Ferro lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 15 games lost.
