There was no surprise in Matagalpa where 9th rankedCarazo (5-6) was outplayed by sixth ranked Sebaco (8-2) 81-60 on Sunday. Sebaco dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Carazo 's 42. They outrebounded Carazo 50-29 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sebaco looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international guard David Toruno (-1992) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Jeedlaff Zeledon chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Luis Jarquin (-1994) produced 17 points and 6 assists and forward Carlos Guillen (-1991) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Sebaco have a solid three-game winning streak.
