Regular Season Round 28: Argentino - Regatas 65-74

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Junin where seventeenth ranked Regatas (9-16) defeated 16th ranked Argentino (10-16) 74-65 on Thursday. Forward Francisco Ferraro (196-2004) fired 25 points for the winners. Guard Benjamin Marco (186-2005) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Augusto Gennero (188-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Santiago Capelli (180-2005) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Argentino's coach Juan Martin tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Regatas moved-up to sixteenth place. Loser Argentino dropped to the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. Regatas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Argentino will play against Olimpico (#20) and hope to secure a win.
