An interesting game was also tough home loss ofCruzeiro in a game versus undefeated Praia 88-84 . Praia made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Raffael Mencarini (187-2001) notched 26 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Gustavo Scaglia (193-1993, college: Arizona W. CC) supported him with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by American swingman Jalen Hodges (198, college: UMW, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Cruzeiro . His fellow American import guard Marvin Coleman III (188-2000, college: Evansville) added 15 points for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
