Fourth-ranked Ottos (2-6) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Stingerz (7-1) on Thursday. The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 70-67. However their fans expected easier game. Stingerz forced 22 Ottos turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Joshua Minner (198-1990, college: MACU) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Keroi Lee contributed with 7 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center N'Kenge Drew replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and center Morlon Davis added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Ottos. Four Ottos players scored in double figures. Stingerz have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-1 record having just one point less than leader Flyers. Ottos lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with six games lost. Stingerz are looking forward to face Potters S. (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Ottos will have a break next round.
