Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bridgetown:Celtics (#4) and Spartans (#8). Celtics (9-5) smashed visiting Spartans (0-14) by 27 points 82-55 . Celtics forced 28 Spartans turnovers. The winners were led by power forward Joel Hunte who scored that evening 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Theo Greenidge supported him with 19 points and 4 steals. Celtics' coach C Vanderpool felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds by Karlos Greenidge did not help to save the game for Spartans . Kadian Brathwaite added 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Spartans players scored in double figures. Celtics maintains fourth position with 9-5 record. Loser Spartans still closes the standings with 14 games lost.
