There was no surprise when 7th rankedPioneros Los Mochis (7-11) were defeated at home by fourth ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (12-6) 100-83 on Friday. The former international forward Jorge Camacho (203-1989, college: EKU) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) chipped in 19 points. American Jordan Allen (193-1998, college: Lynn) produced 25 points and the other American import power forward Raphiael Putney (207-1990, college: UMass) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Hermosillo and four Los Mochis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hermosillo maintains fourth place with 12-6 record. Loser Pioneros Los Mochis keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Guaymas.
