The game between second rankedTiger Sharks (5-3) and 6th ranked Trojans (2-7) in San Pedro on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Tiger Sharks outscored guests from Belmopan 81-50 . Tiger Sharks dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Trojans ' 32. They outrebounded Trojans 50-33 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tiger Sharks looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Bobby Arthur-Williams (201-1997, college: Pitt St., agency: Starting 5) nailed 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and the former international guard Jihad Wright (193-1993, college: UNCP) accounted for 20 points, 5 assists and 6 steals (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Four Tiger Sharks players scored in double figures. Guard Jayden Lopez came up with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Jevaughn McKenzie added 14 points respectively for Trojans in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Tiger Sharks . They maintain second place with 5-3 record having just one point less than leader Hurricanes. Newly promoted Trojans keep the sixth position with seven games lost.
