There was a surprise result when twentieth rankedAlcaldia Alma (2-16) won against higher ranked Leones (5-12) in Managua 68-61 on Sunday. Eliezer Lopez notched 18 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Jhonny Rugama supported him with 15 points. Even 13 points and 6 rebounds by Josef Robleto did not help to save the game for Leones . Terry Picado added 8 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alcaldia Alma maintains twentieth position with 2-16 record. Loser Leones keep the sixteenth place with 12 games lost.
