The game in Ciudad Obregon was also quite interesting. 4th rankedRayos de Hermosillo (14-10) played at the court of sixth ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (11-13). Halcones de Ciudad Obregon defeated Rayos de Hermosillo 103-92 on Wednesday. Obregon looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Hermosillo 's players. American players dominated also this game. The winners were led by forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Tomas Nuno (196, college: CMU) supported him with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Even a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds by guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) did not help to save the game for Hermosillo . Forward Jahlil Tripp (196-1997, college: Pacific, agency: Green Sports Management) added 27 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the guests. Five Obregon and four Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Obregon maintains sixth position with 11-13 record. Loser Rayos de Hermosillo keeps the fourth place with ten games lost.
