Not a big story in a game in Managua where 10th rankedTigres (11-9) were defeated by fifth ranked San Judas (14-6) 77-68 on Saturday. San Judas outrebounded Tigres 53-32 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Rudy Taylor (198-1983) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 25 rebounds and Jerssan Espinoza who added 26 points during the contest. At the losing side Wilson Batista responded with 21 points and 4 assists and Puerto Rican swingman Hector Rodriguez (-2005) scored 6 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 8 steals. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. San Judas have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 14-6 record. Loser Tigres dropped to the eighth place with nine games lost.
