Regular Season Round 16: Carazo - San Judas 79-77

There was a surprise result in Jinotepe where eleventh ranked Carazo (10-9) edged higher ranked San Judas (14-6) 79-77 on Sunday. Strangely San Judas outrebounded Carazo 46-32 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Carazo looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Ervin Morgan (193-1986) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and forward Carlos Guillen (-1991) who added 19 points during the contest. At the losing side the former international center Rudy Taylor (198-1983) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and the former international point guard Daniel Tenorio (177-1990) scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. San Judas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Carazo moved-up to tenth place, which they share with San Isidro. Loser San Judas keep the fifth position with six games lost.
