There was a small surprise in Managua where seventeenth rankedBonanza (6-11) beat 15th ranked Hurricane (6-13) 92-88 on Sunday. Bonanza forced 20 Hurricane turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Norvin Mairena who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds and Jose Florez who added 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Bonanza players scored in double figures. Bonanza's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side guard Yassir Cruz (-1999) responded with 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Victor Medrano produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Bonanza moved-up to fourteenth place. Loser Hurricane dropped to the seventeenth position with 13 games lost.
