An interesting game took place in Mar del Plata where higher rankedSan Lorenzo (20-11) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Penarol (14-18) 80-75 on Monday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of San Lorenzo. The best player for the winners was American forward Al Thornton (203-1983, college: FSU, agency: BIG) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import forward Diamon Simpson (204-1987, college: SMC) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds.
