La Liga top team -Quimsa (26-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighteenth ranked La Union (10-23) in Santiado del Estero 92-76 . Quimsa outrebounded La Union 41-30 including 26 on the defensive glass. Quimsa players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Bruno Sansimoni (194-1996) notched 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the former international point guard Juan Brussino (185-1991) supported him with 9 points and 7 rebounds. Defending champion maintains first position with 26-5 record. La Union lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth place with 23 games lost.
