Sixteenth-rankedPlatense (11-19) made lots of trouble for seventh ranked Ferro (21-12) in Buenos Aires on Friday. Ferro managed to secure only one-point victory 81-80 . However their fans expected much easier game. Ferro made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Platense turnovers. Facundo Wolinsky scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and center Augusto Roveres (207-2003) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. Swingman Mariano Goicoechea (195-2004) responded with 27 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Santino Mazzucchelli produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ferro maintains seventh position with 21-12 record. Platense lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 19 games lost.
