An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Caguas. First rankedCriollos faced second-best Mets . Host Criollos (9-2) defeated guests from Guaynabo (7-2) 92-76 . It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Mets. Caguas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Travis Trice II (183-1993, college: Michigan St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists and the former international Alexander Kappos (208-1997, college: Dalhousie) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Deonte Burton (193-1994, college: Iowa St.) with 16 points and his fellow American import point guard Brandon Boyd (180-1997, college: CBU) scored 15 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Caguas maintains first position with 9-2 record. Loser Mets keeps the second place with two games lost.
