San Salvador clinched Liga Mayor title. They overcame Salvadorenas to complete the sweep of the Finals. San Salvador made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Salvadorenas 2 turnovers. Cuban point guard Arlenys Romero (176-1984) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 6 assists and 6 steals. Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Cuban Bexy Claro (193-2001) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and point guard Fatima Aviles (161-1999) added 7 points and 4 assists in the effort for Salvadorenas 2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
