Worth to mention about the upset in a game betweenPenarol (17-20) and Ferro (16-21), which took place in Mar del Plata. 11th ranked Penarol lost at home to fourteenth ranked Ferro 70-86 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Penarol. It was a great evening for swingman Valentin Bettiga (189-1999) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds.
