Bottom-ranked Cimarrones is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to sixth ranked Corsarios (3-4) 75-59 on Monday evening. Corsarios dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Cimarrones' 24. They outrebounded Cimarrones 43-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. American swingman Jalen Brooks (196, college: LSUS, agency: Players Group) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Argentinian point guard Nicolas Paletta (179-1987) supported him with 9 points and 5 assists. Even 14 points and 6 rebounds by Uruguayan forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) did not help to save the game for Cimarrones. American center Travion Leonard (203-1993, college: Barry, agency: Interperformances) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Corsarios have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Cimarrones still closes the standings with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
