Aguada players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) nailed 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) accounted for 26 points. Jordan Mathews (191-1994, college: Gonzaga) came up with 22 points and 4 assists and guard Michael Smith (193-1995, college: CBU) added 22 points and 5 assists respectively for Nacional in the defeat. Four Aguada and five Nacional players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
