The most exciting game of round 17 in the BSN took place in Aguada. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-rankedIndios (10-7) to fifth ranked Aguada (7-13) 98-97 on Tuesday evening. Aguada shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Cameron McGriff (201-1997, college: OK State) stepped up and scored 25 points for the winners and the former international point guard Alexander Abreu (179-1991, college: UWG) chipped in 18 points and 9 assists. Four Aguada players scored in double figures. American power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) responded with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and international forward Jordan Cintron (203-1998, college: Niagara, agency: YoungGroup Unlimited) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Indios' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Aguada maintains fifth place with 7-13 record. Mayaguez at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost.
