Metropolitan League top team -Felix Perez (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Colonias (1-6) in Asuncion 110-39 . Felix Perez dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Colonias ' 28. Felix Perez forced 22 Colonias turnovers and outrebounded them 40-27 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Felix Perez players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Colonias ' players. It was a quality performance for Pamela Encina (-2005) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 4 assists. The former international point guard Diana Zalazar (165-2003) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. Five Felix Perez players scored in double figures.
