Regular Season Round 12: Cimarrones - Toros Del Valle 95-81

There was a minor upset in Quibdo-Choco where 6th ranked Toros (2-7) were defeated by bottom-ranked Cimarrones (2-9) 95-81 on Monday. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican guard Oliver Garcia (188-1996, agency: BMS Sport Agency) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Dominican forward Edgar Tejeda who added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Argentinian point guard Fabian Sahdi (186-1989) with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and Dominican forward Rich Polanco (203-1997, college: S.Dakota, agency: BMS Sport Agency) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Five Cimarrones and four Toros Del Valle players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Cimarrones maintains eighth position with 2-9 record. Toros Del Valle lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with seven games lost.
