Very predictable result in Potosi where fourth rankedFreseras (4-4) defeated bottom-ranked Santas (1-5) 80-69 on Friday. Freseras outrebounded Santas 44-28 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Freseras looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) fired 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Haitian swingman Jessica Fequiere (180-1993, college: Albany) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Diamond Battles (173-2000, college: Georgia) produced 25 points and 4 steals and her fellow American import guard Aniya Thomas (170-2000, college: Missouri St.) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Freseras have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 4-4 record, which they share with Panteras. Santas lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with five games lost.
